Iguazu Falls | RE Consulting

Walking through Iguaçu Falls is like being completely immersed in nature!

Walking along trails in the middle of the forest and witnessing animals along the way until you reach the end of the trail, as it is called, Garganta do Diabo.

For anyone who has had the opportunity to visit Niagara Falls, you know that the beauty between the two cannot be compared.

However, Iguaçu Falls remains the most beautiful wonder of the natural world.

Here at the border you have the option of visiting the Iguaçu Falls, in two places, the first is on the Brazilian side as I already said and the second is on the Argentinian side.

These two sides are different tours, which means that for each of them, you need a ticket.

On this tour, we can guarantee that every penny spent is worth it, as the two places provide you with different perspectives.

Iguazu Falls – Argentine side

To get to the Falls on the Argentinian side, you need to enter the country, thus requiring your documents, valid such as (Passport, ID and CNH).

On the Brazilian side, the tour lasts 2 to 4 hours, starting at the Visitor Center, disembarking on the trail that leads to Iguaçu Falls.

Along this route, you can make stops for additional tours.

When disembarking, the walk to the falls begins along trails in the middle of the Atlantic forest, with spaces that allow you to get a preview of what it's like to get close to the famous falls.

When you reach the end point of the corridor, there is a walkway that you can go to the “Devil's Throat”, allowing you to observe the depth and also the falls in the panoramic view.

Heading to the Porto Canoas restaurant, where you can sit, drink water and wait for the bus to return.

Nearby there is also a memorial to Albert Santos Dumont, which explains his influence on the history of Iguaçu Falls.

The amounts charged for visiting the Iguaçu Falls can be consulted on the website of both Falls.

It is important to remember that tickets purchased for the falls do not include additional tours in the National Park.

And for those who live in the border region, there are discounts, but for this to be granted, it is extremely important to bring proof of residence and a photo ID (RG, CNH or Passport).

Iguaçu Falls safety standards

It is worth remembering that the Park is a national heritage. Therefore, respect safety standards by not feeding the Coatis, animals typical of Iguaçu Falls that usually walk along the trails.

Another guideline we can give you is: wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes.

It's also worth remembering that in times of high visitation, which is December, January, February and July, tours can have long waiting times. Therefore, it is recommended to make your trip during the low season months.

In short, with this visit to Iguaçu Falls, you will definitely want to return to Foz do Iguaçu with more people by your side.
