Foz do Iguaçu rises in the ranking of foreigners' favorite destinations, according to the Hotel Price Index survey, by Hoteis.com, based on data from the first half of this year. The result is based on reservations made through the Hoteis.com website.
In the list of national destinations preferred by foreigners, Foz do Iguaçu came in third place, behind only São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In the previous survey, Foz was in fifth place, behind Salvador and Brasília.
Other surveys, based on research including by the Ministry of Tourism, already classified Foz do Iguaçu as the third most popular destination for tourists visiting Brazil. Hoteis.com only confirmed the preference.
