A Fartal – Foz do Iguaçu Food Crafts Fair is the best-known event in the region, it will take place in June, as every year, to celebrate Foz do Iguaçu's anniversary.
It takes place at the Centro de Tradições Gaúchas (CTG) Charrua and will begin on Thursday, June 7, 2018 and will end on Sunday, June 10, on the city's anniversary.
As an attraction at this year's Fartal, we will have the Feira dos Sabores do Paraná, organized by Emater (Paraná Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company), which will bring together a wide variety of products coming directly from the family agribusiness in various regions of Paraná.
Still about the FSP, the CEO of the Cultural Foundation, Juca Rodrigues, says “people who like healthy and rural products will have this option at Fartal, with the partnership we are forming with Emater”, he highlighted. “
The idea is to restore history so that the fair returns to its origins and has its strength in crafts and food, which is how Fartal began”, says the president of the foundation.
There will be a four-day event, and according to Juca, the city hall intends to create Expofoz in the future, to be an event simultaneously with Fartal. According to him, the objective is to strengthen cultural tourism. “
This is a trend that attracts investments, generates jobs and income”, he highlights.
Programming:
There will be shows every day of the event, starting on the 7th with the show by the duo Henrique and Juliano.
On the second day of the event, June 8, there will be two special shows: the band Não de Nós and the singer Elba Ramalho.
On the 9th the presentation will be by MC Jerry Smith and later, Jota Quest!
On the last day of presentations, the 10th, Foz do Iguaçu's 104th anniversary, the activities begin with the civic parade, in the afternoon there will be a special show for Patrulha Canina children and the official closing will be up to the duo by Zé Neto and Cristiano.
In addition to the best-known artists, many local artists will participate in the event.
In the 37 thousand square meter event area, visitors will find several food options, including a food park area. And there will also be a special area with pavilions with crafts.
The expectation is that more than 150 thousand people will be received during the four days of the event. Entry is free.
