For those who spent the last weekend on some walks in Foz or certain streets in the city, they had the privilege of seeing some very famous themed cars from the big screen.
This was an action taken by Movie Cars Entertainment, which is one of the next attractions that is close to opening, scheduled for the first half of this year.
To make its institutional video recordings, Movie Cars took three well-known models to take a “ride” around the Land of Falls. The locations chosen were the largest producer of clean and renewable energy, the Itaipu Binacional Plant, the meeting place of the Triple Frontier, the Marco das Três Fronteiras, as well as some streets in the city.

One of the most important historical points in the region, Marco das Três Fronteiras received on 18/01, last Saturday, the car from the British series Mr Bean, called Morris Mini!
The car was photographed near the green and yellow obelisk on the Brazilian side, in addition to taking another beautiful photo next to the direction sign between the countries of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.
The Morris Mini in question is identical to the original from the series, having all the features present in the series, including Bean's favorite teddy bear, called Teddy. In addition to it, the car has props such as ropes, mops and the sofa above the car.
These elements were added in an episode in which Bean goes shopping and realizes he has no more space in his car. In addition to being hilarious, the episode is part of this famous series that became known worldwide for Mr.Bean's misadventures.

On Sunday morning, January 19th, the car that drove by was the incredible DeLorean DMC-12. This car that became known for traveling through time in the film “Back to the Future”, which premiered like a 1985 sensation.
The DeLorean in this film is one of the most classic cars in cinema, marking generations who dreamed of traveling through time in Doc. Brown's machine.
The Movie Cars vehicle is a replica of the original from the film, this DeLorean still has the signatures of actors Michael J. Fox, who gave life to the protagonist Marty McFly, and Christopher Lloyd, who played the brilliant and slightly crazy Doc. Brown.
For its passage through the city, the DeLorean from Movie Cars accelerated and “recharged” its energy at the Itaipu Plant, where its photos were taken next to the plant's penstocks. In the film, the car needs enough energy to jump through time, so its visit to Itaipu Binacional was more than a pun, the vehicle's passage through Brazil's largest energy producer.

An interesting factor is that the Itaipu team made a calculation in 2015, stating that in just one hour, the plant would be able to produce enough energy for 11 trips in the DeLorean DMC-12. After its “recharge” stop, the DeLorean can continue its journey in the Land of Falls in peace. Another model from the classic big-screen films appeared strolling through the streets of Foz. This time it was the vehicle inspired by the original, from the film “Ghostbusters”, named after Ectomobile Ecto-1, this car was driven through the Land of Falls, attracting a lot of attention.
Possessing characteristics similar to those used in the film, complete with shapes and equipment, the Ectomobile Ecto-1 from Movie Cars is a replica of the car used by the trio of teachers, called Ghostbusters in the film, for frightening and capturing the ghosts that cause chaos in the city.
Anyone who is a fan of the saga would certainly recognize the luminous car at night in Foz. Even those who are not fans, as it was an eye-catching and attractive passage for the moment.
