Therefore, we created this post thinking about an itinerary of just 3 days in Foz do Iguaçu. Let's check it out?

1st Day

Macuco Safari and Cataratas Trail (in the morning)

Anyone who travels to the Land of Falls looking for adrenaline and excitement cannot miss this incredible Iguaçu Falls tour! This boat trip is the most popular among tourists visiting Foz do Iguaçu.

After the wonderful bath in “Cataratas” and the most stunning view of the entire attraction, it's time to take the Traditional Trail of Iguaçu Falls.

This route starts at the Mirante Central das Cataratas and ends at Garganta do Diabo – another breathtaking view. It's about 1,5 km with several stops and different scenes, one more beautiful than the other.

Parque das Aves and Backstage (in the afternoon)

After venturing to the falls of the Iguaçu River and enjoying the unique landscape of the Falls, let's enjoy the Bird Park!

First, you can follow the Park's traditional trail, visit the nurseries and observe the most varied species of birds in a unique way and then, the best part of the attraction: the Backstage Experience.

This attraction allows you to come into complete contact with different birds, feed toucans and other species and learn more about the work carried out by Parque das Aves.

Rafain Churrascaria Show (at night)

And finally, to end a long day of incredible tours in Foz do Iguaçu, you can visit the charming Rafain Churrascaria Show.

Look! Anyone who goes once wants to come back. In addition to the delicious and varied menu offered by the restaurant, every day during dinner, there is a dance show, representing the entire Latin American culture. It's a real spectacle!

2st Day

Shopping in Paraguay (during the day)

Second day in Foz do Iguaçu is the day to get up early to visit Paraguay. Access to Ciudad del Este is easy and takes around half an hour.

Normally, it takes almost the whole day to shop in Paraguay, after all, tourists like to research prices, compare, etc. This ends up taking a little more time, so we put this part in the itinerary as if it would take all day.

El Quincho del Tío Querido Argentina (at night)

For the evening, we have something relaxing and stylish, one of the best restaurants in Puerto Iguazú, Argentina – El Quincho del Tío Querido.

There you will find a variety of typical Argentine and gourmet dishes and flavors with a marked influence from international cuisine.

3st Day

Panoramic Visit and Special Circuit of Itaipu Binacional (in the morning)

The Panoramic Tour is the most traditional tour of the largest energy generator on the planet. You observe and get to know the outside of the plant. The spillway, which generates a wonderful view of the waters meeting, has a privileged view of the plant at the Central Viewpoint. That's awesome!

The Special Circuit is a tour through the inside of the plant. In it, you can see the central control room, where they monitor the plant's energy production, see the turbine shaft, feel the power of the water passing through the penstocks, and even take a photo at the dividing line between the Brazilian and Paraguayan side. It's not too much?

City Tour (afternoon)

And to end the itinerary, nothing better than a good City Tour. The tour with the famous “red bus” takes you to several striking points that built the history of Foz do Iguaçu, it's a journey through time.

Your main stops are the Buddhist Temple, the Muslim Mosque and the Three Borders Landmark.
