Having the largest macaw nursery in South America, Parque das Aves has more than 800 animals more than 200 different species, being that 50% of the rescued birds were saved from trafficking or mistreatment and, 43% of the birds were born within the park. Regarding flora, in 2012 alone more than 2500 trees, some threatened with extinction. Care like this that attracts more than 500 thousand visitors all year round, and to be honest, it gets better and more beautiful with each visit.
