The Saudade carnival in Foz do Iguaçu is one of the most traditional festivals during carnival in our region, but it is always accompanied by other programs!
This year Mouth will only feature the program of the Carnival of Saudade which will be held on Sunday, 26th, and Tuesday, 28th from 15pm to 22pm, on Rua Marechal Deodoro.
The event is known for being a more 'calm' and family-friendly party. Everyone will be able to participate in the costume, block and reveler contest.
The highlights of the program are the annual Children's and Children's Costume Competition, the traditional block parade and the Folião Nota 10 Competition, a new addition to this year's party. The occasion will also feature a performance by a block from Ciudad Del Este, Paraguay.
With the participation of approximately five blocks and two carnival bands, the first day will feature the Children's and Children's Costume Competition, starting at 17:30 pm. In total, there are two categories: Children's, for children between 3 and 7 years old, and Youth for children between 8 and 13 years old.
Two other contests promise to involve the public, who will choose the best block of the 11th edition and also the Folião Nota 10. Both will take place during the second day of the event and for the most lively block the prize will be a trophy, while for the reveler The more excited the prize will be a sash.
