How about a walk through the sensational Parque das Aves?

Anyone who knows knows that Parque das Aves has a unique beauty. But for those who don't yet know this wonder, it is possible to get an idea through the various images on the internet.

Of course, the emotion and fascination increase when you are in direct contact with the countless species of birds that exist in the Park. That's why we at Tarobá Hotel recommend the tour.

Considered one of the most sought after tours by tourists visiting Foz do Iguaçu, Parque das Aves's main objective is the recovery and shelter of animals that were seized in smuggling by the Federal Police, which currently represents 50% of the animals that live in the park. Find out more in the video at the end of the post!

The tour of Parque das Aves lasts around 2 hours, along a trail of approximately 1.800 meters. The trail is completely surrounded by native forest, which makes the visitor's experience even more unforgettable.

In addition to the traditional tour inside the Park, where it is possible to enter some of the aviaries and get closer to the birds, there are also other attractions, such as the Connect.

Among the nurseries, there is the Pantanal nursery, whose main focus is birds adapted to the aquatic environment, such as Herons and Guarás, the Floresta nursery, where there are birds from the Atlantic Forest, which is the same forest that covers the entire area of the Iguaçu National Park, and is home to Jackdaws, Toucans, Thrushes and Mutuns.

And there is also the Macaw nursery, which enchants everyone, as it is a nursery where there are dozens of Macaws and Parrots that fly freely among visitors.

Another incredible place within the Foz do Iguaçu Bird Park is the Butterfly Kingdom, which has several species of butterflies and hummingbirds. Think of a colorful place… This is it for sure!

There is also, in Parque das Aves, Paraíso das Ararajubas, where the largest colony of Ararajubas under human care is found. This bird is from the Amazon and is considered a symbol of Brazil because it has the colors of the flags.

The Foz do Iguaçu Bird Park currently houses more than 200 species of birds, and in addition, there is also an area just for reptiles, the Reptile Den. There you will find Boas, Iguanas, Alligators and Anacondas.

In this area, you come face to face with the Boa Constrictor, or another snake, and you can even take a photo, but you cannot touch it.

The entire path within Parque das Aves is flat and paved, which facilitates access for people with strollers, wheelchair users and the elderly. Positive point for the Park.

The entire route is signposted, with bathrooms, rest areas and two food points, and also a souvenir shop for you to take a souvenir of the attraction.
