Did you know that Paraguay also has waterfalls?

Well, almost no one knows, but there is!

Located in the city of Presidente Franco, just a few minutes from Cuidad del Este, the Saltos del Monday are 3 stunning 40-meter-high falls that form the Monday River, which in Guarani means rolling water.

The Saltos del Monday Municipal Park is in the middle of a native forest and has a great structure for walkways, trails, viewpoints and a snack bar.

For those who like adventure, the park also offers a zipline and tree climbing circuit. For the more radical, the 40-meter walls encourage rappelling alongside the waterfalls.

Now if you are looking for a peaceful walk with the family, the park is also perfect, as it has a vast green area ideal for walks, picnics and a peaceful moment to rest in contact with nature.

Even with all their beauty, heels do not receive much publicity as attention is usually focused on the waterfalls of Iguaçu.
