Brazilian Side

As you know, the Iguaçu Falls can be accessed from both Brazilian and Argentinean territories, and although Brazil is home to more than 95% of the Iguaçu River basin, tourists who visit the Iguaçu National Park on the Brazilian side can only have a panoramic view of Natural Wonders, as visitors to the Iguazú National Park in Argentina, you have a more complete tour due to the fact that two thirds of the Iguazú Falls are located in Argentine territory! To give you an idea, in the Argentine park, visitors walk through the area where the falls are located, having different perspectives and angles of the phenomenon, being able to even stand under one of the falls, in addition to being able to observe waterfalls that are hidden in the middle of the forest. that surrounds the place!

Now you must be thinking, Should I dispense with the visit from the Brazilian side then? Of course!

Although the visit to the Argentine side is more complete and intimate, the Brazilian side has its advantages!

The panoramic view and the possibility of staying close to the point called Garganta do Diabo, as well as taking a beautiful bath there, is an impressive and satisfying experience that cannot be exchanged for anything, it is totally worth it!

I intend to do the Argentine side of the Falls, what do I need to know?

If you are determined to visit Iguazu Falls from the Argentine side, the first thing you need to know is that you will be walking a lot so you need to hydrate A LOT! The Argentine park is much more extensive than the Brazilian park, containing three trails called Passeio Inferior (1,4km) – where you have a view below the falls, Superior (1,7km) – a view from above, and the main one Garganta do Diabo which can only be accessed via the ecological train provided by the park.

The ideal is also to set aside a whole day to be able to enjoy the trip more calmly, especially if your intention is to do all the trails! If you find it too tiring to do everything in just one day or don't have time for it, the park offers a 50% discount on the ticket price for visitors who return the next day, just present your previous ticket at the ticket office!

Important! The ticket office only accepts local currency, only international cards and only inside the park! The park opens from 8 am (Argentina local time), with entry until 16:30 pm and visitors staying until 18 pm!

Inside the Park there are also optional tours not included in the ticket price, including nautical tours and full moon light tours, which even has the visiting season open!
