What is open in Foz do Iguaçu?

To update you on the situation in Foz do Iguaçu, we have listed some tours in Foz, which have taken temporary closure measures, in order to protect people and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Thus respecting the guidelines of the WHO (World Health Organization) and the Ministry of Health.

The only ones that can remain open, but during reduced hours, are supermarkets, markets, pharmacies, lottery outlets, ATMs, passport issuing offices, Federal Police stations, bakeries, financial institutions, water and gas distributors, funeral services and veterinary clinics.

In addition, of course, public and private health services, emergency and urgent care, for hospitalization and monitoring. The city hall will remain open, but at reduced hours, from 8 am until 12 pm. Restaurants can only operate through delivery.

Important: These establishments (those with non-essential services) may be closed again. As more decrees are issued for the city.

How are the borders?

Just as the impact of the new coronavirus was great in all regions of our country, unfortunately in the Triple Border things were not very different.

Being the first to be closed, Brazil's borders with Paraguay and Argentina were blocked from entry by Brazilians.

Paraguay:

The Directorate-General for Migrations announced as of March 16th that the Brazil-Paraguay border would be closed for 03 days.
