Research: First dinosaur found in Paraná!
The research was carried out through a partnership between researchers from Cruzeiro do Oeste, the State University of Maringá (UEM) and the University of São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto campus.
Measuring 80 centimeters in height and 1,5 meters in length, the first dinosaur discovered in Paraná was called Vespersaurus Paranaensis, and it lived 90 million years ago, living in a desert region, in southwestern Brazil, during the Cretaceous period.
