Flytour Viagens starts series of training with the CheckInFly seal

In search of improving the knowledge of travel agents and providing greater productivity to the distribution chain, Flytour Viagens – in partnership with the destination of Foz do Iguaçu, hoteliers, receptionists, local attractions and support from the Iguassu Convention Bureau – carries out a series of training across the country with the “CheckInFly” seal.

The objective of the roadshow – which has already passed through the cities of São José dos Campos (08/09), São Paulo (09/09) and Belo Horizonte (10/09) – is to present the differences sold by Flytour Viagens, thus expanding the offering products and services in Foz do Iguaçu. Furthermore, the “ChekInFly” initiative also includes training tourism professionals to use the operator's tools, such as the Flytour.com portal and Melhor Tarifa Fly – a website specializing in the sale of hotel rates.

The events aim to strengthen the partnership between the operator, its customers and main suppliers”, said the director of National Products at Flytour Viagens, Daniel Firmino. According to him, in addition to training, this type of event allows the exchange of experience between the links in the production chain, enabling greater understanding and visualization of the market. “In addition to training, we were able to listen to the needs of agents and the market in general,” he said.

For Fernando Valente, director of IGU City Bus – receptive Flytour Viagens de Foz do Iguaçu –, training actions contribute to the recycling of travel agent information. “The Iguaçu destination has the characteristics of an international destination and the agent needs to be able to guide passengers at the time of sale so that the trip continues to be a dream come true”, commented Valente.

São Paulo stage – In the São Paulo capital stage, CheckInFly awarded awards to the destination's three main sellers of the season. In first place – awarded a trip with a companion to Foz do Iguaçu – was the City Center Viagens e Turismo agency, from São Paulo. Via Mundi Viagens e Turismo, which took an IPhone 6, came in second place, followed by Vale Paraibana Agência de Viagens e Turismo, which took a 32” TV.

Next stages – In October, Flytour Viagens will begin the second stage of roadshows, starting on the 20th in Rio de Janeiro, followed by Recife (PE), on the 21st, and Fortaleza (CE), on the 22nd.

News – Due to the success of the campaign for the season, in the coming days – in partnership with Foz do Iguaçu – Flytour Viagens will publish a new sales campaign for agents, in addition to new itineraries in the destination, now available on the operator's portal. The highlight is the “Argentine Night” itinerary, which includes a visit to the Iguazú Casino, followed by a tasting at a Wine Boutique, ending with dinner at the famous restaurant “El Quincho del Tio Querido”.
