One of the greatest singers of Brazilian popular music, Marisa Monte, will present the triple border with an unforgettable show that will bring together great hits in a single performance in the city of Foz do Iguaçu on November 19th at 22pm, at the Convention Center.
The show is part of a brief tour of Brazil, announced for this second semester, and the Land of Cataratas has the privilege of being included, to the delight of the singer's fans and admirers.
Marisa Monte makes her first performance in Foz do Iguaçu and promises to surprise the public with the grandeur and Brazilianness of her works.
With almost 30 years of experience in music as an interpreter, composer and instrumentalist, she has received numerous national and international awards, including four Latin Grammys, and was also nominated as the most important Brazilian singer alive by Rolling Stone Brasil magazine, reaching the number of ten million records sold all over the world.
The most recent album, “Coleção”, released in 2016, is the first compilation work by the artist, who faced the difficult challenge of selecting 13 songs from the various recordings made throughout her career. According to Marisa “the selection process was a dive into her own history”.
