Hotel Tarobá has always been concerned about being a responsible and safe company for its guests and employees. Therefore, through hard and attentive work, we achieved the Responsible Tourism Seal issued by himself Ministry of Tourism!
After our reopening, our new cleaning and sanitation approaches (Especially now that they are very necessary in the Covid-19 scenario) have proven to be suitable for customers and employees.

About the Responsible Tourism Seal:
The Responsible Tourism Seal was created by the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, with the aim of being a program that determines hygiene practices for each fragment of the tourism sector in the country.
Why was this Seal created?
This seal would be the ideal incentive for people to start to feel safer about performing again trips around Brazil. In addition, of course, ensuring that consumers are using places, services and establishments that carry out specific care protocols to prevent the new coronavirus (covid – 19).
All of this only reinforces our mission to return to our activities and continue fighting covid-19, thus helping the country to achieve a better image as a responsible and protected destination.
What protocols must Accommodation Centers follow?
To guarantee your participation in this program, accommodation facilities must follow some rules, including those of Basic Protocol health safety, see below what is available on the website tourism.gov.br:
Basic Protocol for Accommodation:
- Ensure the washing and disinfection of surfaces where employees and consumers circulate;
- Promote the measurement of the temperature of all patrons at the entrance to the establishment;
- Clean, several times a day, surfaces and objects in common use (including counters, light and elevator switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, among others);
- Promote regular air renewal in rooms and closed spaces, opening windows and doors to allow air currents to pass through;
- Make 70% alcohol available in available forms (liquid, gel, spray, foam or wet wipes) in strategic locations such as: entrance to the establishment, access to elevators, service counters, for use by customers and workers;
- Use bins that do not need to be opened manually and empty them several times a day;
- Provide liquid soap and disposable paper towels in the bathrooms;
- Provide posters with information/guidance on the need for hand hygiene, use of 70% alcohol in available forms (liquid, gel, spray, foam or wet wipes), use of masks, distancing between people, cleaning surfaces, ventilation and cleaning of environments; It is
- Provide access control, designation of reserved seats for customers, control of the establishment's external area and organization of queues so that the minimum distance of 2,0 (two) meters between people is respected.
