On Tuesday, January 10th, the National Park celebrated 78 years of its creation, the celebration was attended by visitors and employees of the attraction. The attraction was created in 1939 through a decree, the delimitation of the area by the Union was influenced by Santos Dumont in the region, who was outraged by the fact that the area was private and in 1986 the unit became the first Brazilian conservation unit to receive the title of World Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
