On November 1st, in Ushuaia, Argentina, the event begins, bringing together several planes made in the early 1900s. The international competition will also take place in Brazil!
The Brazilian cities that will be able to see the planes passing are Bento Gonçalves (RS), Caçador (SC) and Foz do Iguaçu (PR), respectively on the 14,15th, 16th and XNUMXth. These dates are perfect for visiting the main tourist attractions, such as the Itambezinho Canyon (RS) and Iguaçu Falls (PR).
The event, as previously mentioned, starts in Ushuaia, Argentina and will end on December 14th in the United States! It will last 44 days and cover more than 14 thousand kilometers between Argentina and the North of the United States!
“These are planes from the 1920s and 1930s, brought back not only for lovers, but for all the curious people who see these aircraft in films, but never had the chance to get close to one”, says the director and founder of the competition, Sam Rutherford.
The event is super interesting for those who like planes or for those who just want to take a look at the aircraft just out of curiosity!

Around 675 teams from 73 countries applied, with pilot and co-pilot, only 15 pairs were chosen, from 12 different nationalities, including one Brazilian, composed of aviators Eddy Eipper and Rodrigo Damboriarena.
The planes will make a series of stops and at each one, people who like planes, or just want to see one up close, will be able to take photos inside the aircraft.
There will be a great opportunity for freelance pilots, who, if they have access to their private planes, will be able to carry out any of the sections of the competition alongside the fifteen competing teams.
